Hello Fresh

Our accountant sent us an invite to try Hello Fresh. I decided to give it try and see what it was all about. Signing up was super easy. It’s a weekly subscription of meals for your family. All the ingredients are fresh, healthy, and shipped straight to you front door! I’m telling you it’s kind of amazing!

I was able to pick the day and time frame I wanted the meals delivered. I was hesitant about how the food would stay fresh and cold. When the box showed up on my doorstep, I couldn't wait to open it up and see how it was done. It was packed so well and everything was perfectly cold and fresh when it arrived. You can even reuse and save the cold packs it comes with. So each recipe was in its own smaller box with all the ingredients. Underneath the smaller white boxes were the packages of meat for each recipe with the cold packs. It was packaged perfectly and I love having each recipe ingredients separated. There was a recipe book for each meal that had step by step directions with time and difficulty listed. They really thought of everything. I loved the pictures and detail that really helped make dinner a breeze.

One night we had Herby Sausage Risotto. I did not think I would like this meal at all. In fact, I have never even made risotto. I just followed the easy step by step directions and it turned out amazing. The whole family loved it (even the picky eaters). The next night we made the Lemony Pan-Seared Chicken. Now I am not fan of pesto, so I was not sure how I would like this one either. There were pan- seared pine nuts and fresh peas (things I don't normally add or think to get at the store). That is another reason Hello Fresh is so neat. You get a chance to make things you normally wouldn’t. You also feel good about the healthy ingredients. This chicken recipe also turned out amazing. Since it was close to St. Patricks Day they had this meal was themed with the green to go with the holiday. It was just fun!

Every ingredient was individually wrapped for the portion to use. I really liked this because sometimes recipes call for random ingredients. If I was at the grocery store, I would have to buy a whole package or container of that random ingredient (and probably never use it again). It takes the hassle out of grocery shopping and thinking about whats for dinner! I just really had a great experience and wanted to share. You can put your subscription on hold or cancel at any time. You can even see what meals are coming up and select certain recipes you want to try. If you want to try Hello Fresh too, you can go (affiliate link)here to try it out with a discount. Hopefully, you can enjoy easy fresh dinners with your family too!

I am not affiliated with Hello Fresh or paid for this review. These are all my own opinions and I just really enjoyed my experience.
